    Vienna

"“Coffee houses, lush parks, and stunning architecture”"

The capital of Austria has plenty to boast about. Vienna was a beautiful city to visit and inspired us to see more of Austria in the future! The family-friendly nature of the city was apparent every day and the fine coffee served throughout Vienna kept us energized and on our feet to see all that we could.

Vienna is known for its parks, coffee houses, and architecture and truly excels at all three. Every coffee house we visited had the perfect coffee and a great atmosphere. The parks put every other park we’ve been to to shame and it was common to see the landscape being tended to or shrubs being trimmed. The architecture throughout the city were works of art and play an integral role of the look and feel of Vienna.

What we loved most about Vienna was the sense of family focus that radiated throughout the city. It was inconvenient at times because almost every store closed at 6pm, but we knew that that gave families time together. Every park we visited was occupied by mothers playing with their children, kids jumping rope, or students reading their textbooks. Overall, it’s just a nice city to visit!
