"Korea's green tea region"
Boseong is a county near the bottom of South Korea. It is well known for its rolling hills and green tea plantations.
We traveled to Boseong with Greg’s family on a weekend trip to the southern peninsula. Boseong has endless rolling hills, many of which are filled with tea leaves. Most people who live in Boseong reside in the countryside, as it is a much quieter area of the country.
Expect to spend at least two days in the area, as frequent heavy fog can cover much of the scenery, making it difficult to see. We were unable to see the tea plantations until after the fog cleared on our second day, and trust us, it’s worth it!
